All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted by skilled artisans in our dedicated studio in India. Olivia and Claudine visit their studio regularly to spend time with the team and oversee the making of each collection.
Our stripes are made from recycled nylon - an upcycled material created from waste like discarded fishing nets, old carpets and factory off-cuts. These materials are collected, cleaned and melted down before being spun and hand-dyed into new nylon yarn.
The yarn is then woven into our durable striped fabric before being cut, stitched and assembled by hand into your most used bag.
Because these materials have lived a life before becoming an EAU BAG, you may notice subtle variations in colour, texture or stitching. These are not defects, but part of the bag’s story - proof it was made by real hands, from materials that once existed elsewhere.
All EAU BAGS are slow-made and handcrafted in our dedicated studio in India using recycled nylon fabric. Designed for everyday use, each bag is made with durability and longevity in mind. They distress naturally and may feature minor imperfections over time, but that's part of what makes them unique. These are inherent qualities that add to their character and charm.
Caring for EAU BAGS
- Your bag arrives flat to reduce waste. Just pop items inside for about an hour, and it’ll take its shape.
- Spot clean with a damp cloth. Avoid soaking your bag in water. Do not wash or tumble dry. Let it air dry naturally.
- No bleach, strong detergents, or abrasive cleaners.
- Keep it out of long-term direct sunlight to maintain its vibrant colours. If exposed to direct sunlight the colours will fade.
- Our bags are made for everyday use, but overfilling them can place unnecessary strain on the stitching.

- We DO NOT Offer Exchanges OR Refunds with Furniture & Customer Orders. A Custom Order is defined as a product which is specifically made for you or a product which is ordered in from our supplier on your behalf.
- There are no refunds or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect measurement so please choose carefully.

- No Refunds. We Offer Credit Note OR Exchange within 14 Days of purchasing the product.
- Item’s may be exchanged with original receipt within 14 days of receipt of purchase if in original condition with all tags attached. If you purchase with Afterpay, charges do apply.
