Furniture & Custom ordered products: Terms & Conditions Policy

We DO NOT Offer Exchanges OR Refunds with Furniture & Customer Orders. 

A Custom Order is defined as a product which is specifically made for you OR a product which is ordered in from our supplier on your behalf. 

Conditions: 

Our 14-day exchange/return policy does not apply to Furniture.  Furniture purchases cannot be exchanged, cancelled or returned.   

Customer Orders:

A Custom Order is defined as a product which is specifically made for you OR a product which is ordered in from our supplier on your behalf.   

Change of Mind: 

Please choose carefully as we do not accept return or exchange with Furniture items if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.    

Please Measure Carefully: 

It is the customers responsibility to measure the space correctly, we will not accept returns or exchanges for items that have been measured incorrectly.  

General: 

Our products are suitable for domestic use only. Unless specified ALL products sold are indoor use only & any warranty will be nil & void if placed outside that includes outside under cover.  

Recycled Timber Products:

Recycled timber products are made from old houses and building materials. Due to the nature of recycled timber the products will come with some natural imperfections. It is this type of timber that gives this furniture a unique and individual charm. Sometimes cracks/splits may occur in recycled timber. This is a natural occurrence of this type of timber and is no way a fault. Timber will then be used to fill these cracks which will blend in with the appearance.The colours on the timber will vary from piece to piece. You cannot request a certain colour as all pieces come in their own individual colour and finish and no two pieces will ever be the same. This is part of the rustic recycled charm of this furniture. If you have any hesitations please avoid purchasing these products.

Oak/Elm Products: 

Our solid oak/elm products are sourced from overseas. They come from different climatic regions which are different to our climate (Australia is an extremely dry country).
Some of the tables could expand and contract and it is a natural occurrence of timber to split/crack. Even though these things can happen, they can be easily repaired to blend in with the looks of the table’s finishing. 
With solid timber we can never guarantee 100% that split/cracks will not occur. If you have any hesitations please avoid purchasing these products.

Rattan:

Rattan is a natural fibrous material that is hand-woven and can have imperfections and inconsistencies. Sometimes rattan can have small splits, and these are not considered faults.
Rattan can be sensitive to delicate fabrics.

Handmade Disclaimer: 

By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that there may be a variation in material, colour, finish, craftsmanship and slight variations in dimensions between each piece and between the items displayed in our stores. Some of our products are handmade one-off pieces, which have imperfections that add to their stunning handmade nature with we do not see this as a fault of the item and exchange/return will not be permitted based on this. It is your responsibilities upon delivery of the item to thoroughly inspect  

Product Issues: 

For product issues it is at Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares discretion to offer either a repair, replacement or part-replacement.
If items are received damaged or incomplete, Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares must be notified within 7 days of receiving the item.

Lead Times:

Lead times will vary depending on the item ordered and our suppliers turnaround times. We will endeavour to have your item within the specified time frame however some delays may occur that are outside of our control and our suppliers control, this includes delays in shipping & internal Transport delays. We will notify and keep you updated of any delays arising. Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares will not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. 

Delivery:

You will be contacted the day of your schedule delivery date, in the morning with an approximate time. Capped price for unlimited items, includes GST.  

It is your responsibility to be available to be at the nominated address to receive your delivery or have someone else available otherwise redelivery charges may apply. If you unpack your purchase & find any issues we require you to keep your original packaging so that the item may be returned back to our supplier. 
If you change your mind once your product has been delivered to our warehouse a 20% restocking fee applies; this is passed on from our suppliers & not something Swish has control over.

Inspection of Goods:

All items must be thoroughly inspected on delivery and any damages must be reported & photographed as soon as receiving & an email sent to swishwarriewood@hotmail.com. We will not be responsible for any damages unless we are notified within a 24-hour time frame. 

Stock Levels:

In the rare case that Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares cannot fulfil your order due to stock levels/oversold/sold out - Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares will refund any monies paid in full to the customer. We will also endeavour to find an alternate product/s for you to choose from if you wish.

Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares accepts no responsibility or liability from your use of this website and you will defend, indemnify and hold Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares harmless from and against any claims, damages, costs and expenses as a result.

Updates to Terms & Conditions:

Swish Furniture, Gifts & Homewares retains the right to update and make changes to these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. This may be necessary when introducing new services and products. Any updates placed here will take immediate effect, replacing any previous statements.
